WHO CAN JOIN

For TBR Dream Marathon, we welcome participants with various levels of running experience: beginners, serious, competitive or experienced runners.

TBR Dream Marathon must be the participant’s first or second marathon.  Second time marathoners are welcome to join but priority will be given to first time marathoners. This means that the participant must have 1) never run a marathon (42.195km) OR 2) only completed one marathon (42.195km) prior to race day.  Runners who have completed an Ultramarathon or full Ironman distance are ineligible to join.

HOW TO JOIN

STEPS

Dream Marathon is a unique race. Follow these steps to join our event:

STEP 1: READ Dream Marathons RACE RULES & REGULATIONS.  We want to ensure that you know what you are getting into before you register.
This is not just any race; it’s your first marathon. Take the time to think about it. If you’re ready to take on the challenge, move on to Step 2.
STEP 2: APPLY.  Application opens at www.dreammarathon.com on MONDAY, AUG. 8, 2016 at 12:00NN
> Application DOES NOT guarantee entry into the race.
> All applicant runners will be notified via EMAIL on or before FRIDAY, AUG. 12, 2016 if you have been selected to register for the race.
> The organizer will not be held responsible for a runner that fails to be informed.  Runners may confirm selection on tbrdream.com or thebullrunner.com
STEP 3: REGISTER only if your name is on the list of Selected Runners. See Registration details below.
> Selected Runners DO NOT have guaranteed entry into the race.
> Registration is on a first come, first served basis.
> Registration will start on SATURDAY, AUG. 13 and close as soon as 800 slots are confirmed and paid for.
> The organizer will not be held responsible for a runner that fails to be informed.  Runners may confirm selection on www.tbrdream.com or www.thebullrunner.com

WAITLISTED RUNNERS

If you were not selected, you may still have a chance for entry.

If there are unclaimed slots, these will be opened up to WAITLISTED RUNNERS.  TBR will notify the Waitlisted Runners directly via EMAIL if slots free up.

Registration for waitlisted runners will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

OPTION 2: Onsite Payment + Pick up 1. Confirm slot in Selected Runners List.
2. Pay the fee at Planet Sports, Bonifacio High Street (near California Pizza Kitchen)
3. Pick up kit on Sept. 16 onwards.  See pick up schedule below.
OPTION 3: Bank Deposit + Pick Up 1. Confirm slot in Selected Runners List.
2. Deposit P3,400 to BULL & BEAR SPORTS MARKETING CO. BPI C/A 1591-0071-53
3. Write Runner’s name on the deposit slip. Submit deposit slip via Payment Verification Form or email macel@dreammarathon.com with subject: “Payment 42k: <Name of Runner>”.
4. Pick up kit on Sept. 16 onwards. See pick up schedule below.
OPTION 4: Online Payment + Deliver  1. Confirm slot in Selected Runners List.
2. Pay online at the link emailed to Selected Runners
3. Wait for Welcome Kit. Delivery of kits will start Sept. 19
OPTION 5: Onsite Payment + Deliver 1. Confirm slot in Selected Runners List.
2. Inform staff you will have the Welcome Kit delivered. Pay the race fee + shipping fee at Planet Sports, Bonifacio High Street (near California Pizza Kitchen)
3. Wait for Welcome Kit. Delivery of kits will start Sept. 19
OPTION 6: Bank Deposit + Deliver 1. Confirm slot in Selected Runners List.
2. Compute Race Fee (P3,400) + Shipping Fee (Metro Manila: P90 / Provincial: P180) = Total Fee
3. Deposit total fee to BULL & BEAR SPORTS MARKETING CO. BPI C/A 1591-0071-53
4. Write Runner’s name on the deposit slip. Submit deposit slip via Payment Verification Form or email macel@dreammarathon.com with subject: “Payment 42k: <Name of Runner>”.
5. Wait for Welcome Kit. Delivery of kits will start Sept. 19

WELCOME KITS REDEMPTION

All registered runners will receive a Welcome Kit containing the following:

* A Note from the Founders
* Your Dream Marathon Training Program
* Your TBR Dream Official Training Shirt
* Your Calendar of Activities
* Your Dream Card
* TBR Sticker

Participants who did not opt for delivery of kits may pick up their Dream Marathon Welcome Kit. Pick up dates and venues below:

Sep 16 (Fri) to Sep 30 (Fri) from 12nn to 9pm.  On Sep 21, 12nn to 5PM only. Planet Sports, Bonifacio High Street (near California Pizza Kitchen)
Sept 21 (Wed), 6PM to 9PM  During Bull Circle 1, Henry Sy Auditorium, St. Lukes Med. Ctr., BGC

IMPORTANT NOTES: 

* Bring your claiming stub (for on site registration), deposit slip (for bank deposit), or credit card/paypal email receipt (for online payments).
* Size of the Official Dream Marathon Training Shirt are available while supplies last.

CLAIMING OF REDEMPTION KIT BY AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE

1. Authorization Letter signed by the Registered Runner
2. Payment confirmation: for online reg – TBR email, for onsite reg – Claim Stub, for bank deposit – Deposit Slip
3. Photocopy of Valid ID of Registered Runner with Signature
4. Photocopy of Valid ID of Authorized Representative
5. TBR and NUVALI waivers SIGNED by the Registered Runner. We will not accept those signed FOR the runner. To be verified with the ID submitted. No signed waivers, no welcome kit. You may click HERE to download waivers.

Terms & Conditions: Application for Dream Marathon

  • Full honesty and transparency is expected. Falsification of entry information is strictly prohibited especially pertaining to the number of marathons, ultramarathons, or full Ironman distances prior to event day and health condition.
  • Modification of entry after submission will not be allowed.  Please ensure you answer accurately.  Avoid errors especially with your email address.
  • Application or Selection does not mean immediate acceptance into Dream Marathon. Registration is confirmed only upon payment of the race fee.
  • No fees will be collected during online reservation. Fees will be collected upon registration.
  • Priority will be given to first-time marathoners over second-timers.
  • We follow a strict first come, first served rule for registration.
  • Fee is strictly non-refundable.
  • Sale or transfer of slot is strictly prohibited.
  • Runners from the province or abroad may join as long as they appear on race day.
  • Minors 16 to 18 years old may reserve a slot, but applicant will be required to submit a formal letter from the applicant and from the applicant’s parents/guardian allowing the applicant to participate in the event including the history of the applicant in running (e.g, age, number and distance of races participated in, sports background, and reason for joining) before acceptance into the event.
  • The organizer will not be liable for any detriment caused by undelivered emails or emails which were not received for any reason whatsoever.  The applicants may confirm reservation via website.
  • The organizer will not entertain follow-ups, requests for reservation of slots, or requests for reconsideration for rejected applicants.
